Electronic Arts has announced a new Swedish development house which will be called EA Gothenberg. According to the publisher, the studio will be working exclusively with DICE’s Frostbite 2.0 engine. The studio will be located five hours away from DICE, which is based in Stockholm.
However, no projects have been announced yet. ”Game franchise and genre will be revealed after a candidate is under NDA,” said the studio’s representative.
The studio is currently hiring for 16 jobs, according to the EA careers page, including Creative Director, Art Director, Audio Designer, Audio Director, Build Engineer, Gameplay Designer, Level Artist, Network Engineer, Producer, Senior Producer, Techincal Artist, UI Artist, UI Engineer, UI Lead and VFX Artist.
