The highly anticipated Silent Hill HD Collection was to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 24th January, but Konami has announced that the HD remake bundle has been delayed, and won’t be available until March.
This delay had first been hinted at when the bundle’s release date had been changed by online retailers such as Amazon and GameStop to the 6th March. Konami later confirmed the release date change.
This is not the first delay for the Silent Hill HD Collection. The game was originally to be released this past fall, but was moved to the 24th January.
Silent Hill HD Collection will include the classic Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, with updated HD graphics and, in some cases, new voice acting. Silent Hill: Downpour, the next game in the series, is due to be released this coming October on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
