Microsoft has snapped up the trademark for “Avatar Motorcross Madness”, initiating rumours that a reboot is on the cards.
Taken out on 5th April, the filing extends from ”game software” to ”providing a website featuring information in the field of games and home entertainment; entertainment services, namely, providing online video games”.
Motorcross Madness first appeared on the PC in 1998, and had players performing tricks around a variety of open arenas. Throw in a cartoon version of yourself (who may be wearing a Buzz Lightyear outfit), and this seems a pretty intriguing prospect.
