It looks like Windows 8 will be officially released in October 2012, and it will be launched alongside Microsoft’s intriguing new tablet, the Surface. This was revealed by VP of Windows Tami Reller during a worldwide partner conference in Toronto earlier today.
Business customers will get first crack at Windows 8, which will go into manufacturing in August. The deluxe Windows 8 Pro will be released three months later.
Windows 8 will feature Microsoft’s new “Metro” style.
