The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the writers behind the first four Saw films, Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, are working on a rewrite on the God of War screenplay draft written by David Self. Self will be executive producer of the film.
Jigsaw’s most nefarious trap yet.Charles Roven, who produced the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises, will be teamed with Alex Gartner in production duties. Melton and Dunstan had recently penned Pacific Rim, which is directed by Benecio del Toro and due for a 2013 release.
God of War: Ascension is due to be released on the PlayStation 3 on the 12th March, 2013.
