Developer Colin Northway has started accepting pre-orders for his bizarre physics puzzle game Incredipede, in which players add limbs and muscles to a giant eye to allow it to amble across challenging terrain.
The game is available from the official site for $11.99 USD (20% off its normal $15 USD price), but Northway is also giving Steam codes away to gamers who upvote the game on Steam Greenlight, should it get selected.
However, Northway seems to be critical of Steam Greenlight, claiming in an interview, ”If Greenlight didn’t exist, Valve might have accepted Incredipede earlier and it would be launching on Steam. Instead Incredipede will do what a lot of other great games are going to do: launch without Steam, get a bunch of players, and then leverage the fanbase to climb the Greenlight ranks and release on Steam later.”
