Activision Blizzard was in the process of buying itself out from Vivendi in a $8.2B deal back in June, but it was interrupted by a lawsuit accusing the company not giving its shareholders any consideration.
The injunction had halted the sale, but now that the suit has been dealt with, the sale will go through on the 15th October. Bobby Kotcik will be getting half of those shares.
