Currently the pledge pile stands at just over $314k from almost 10k backers. Nine stretch goals have been unlocked, with co-op multiplayer promised at the $400k mark.
It’s the deadly combination (for our wallets) of intriguing gameplay and adorable graphics that has ensnared many a backer’s imagination - plus it looks a little Minecrafty.
So far Mac and Linux ports have been achieved, alongside a slew of new character classes, pets, biomes and even PvP raids. The objective of Stonehearth is to take a tiny little settlement of villagers and turn them into a fantasy kingdom of our design. Naturally getting to play co-operatively online would be a huge selling point.
New stretch goals include more character classes, a new faction, seasons and perhaps even ‘alternate planes’ of existence. There is just over two weeks left on Stonehearth’s Kickstarter and the way things are going it looks to be well on its way to storming through more goal posts.
