New character revealed in Lightning Returns leak

According to a leak from the latest issue of VJump magazine, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII stars a new character known as Lumina. She is able to both aid and cause problems for players.

Specific details about her, like if she is playable, remain unknown. Also revealed are three costumes for Lightning, which she can change between at will going into battle with foes.

Each of the costumes has an ATB gauge attached which advances during fights. Lightning is also packing some new abilities. One of the outfits is known as the Dark Muse.

Famtisu magazine is expected to spill fresh info next week. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII releases in 2013.
