Independent developer Chucklefish has revealed that Bastion’s oh-so-cool narrator Ruck would be doing voice work for their upcoming adventure roleplaying game Starbound. The actor was confirmed in the developer’s Twitter account.
The latest blog post discussing the game’s progress featured some of Cunningham’s voiceover in a gameplay video.
Starbound is a roleplaying game with strong adventure game elements in which the player is forced into space exploration due to the destructoid of their homeworld by enemies. The game promises a wide open universe sandbox to play in, with the terrains of planets procedurally generated right down to the weather, the gravity, the difficulty level, the plant life, the behaviour and appearance of alien creatures.
