Adventure game veterans Lori and Corey Cole, best known for the Quest for Glory series, have announced their collaboration with Israeli developer Adventure Mob to produce Bolt Riley - A Reggae Adventure, a Jamaica-set game with plenty of reggae music.
Bolt Riley is a classic point-and-click adventure game with the titular protagonist Bolt, living in the poor village of Trenchtown and aspiring to a reggae music career.
”It’s a journey where you are introduced to Reggae music, form your band, get inspiration, write and produce your songs and even perform them,” states the developer, as Riley works to become a music legend.
The adventure game features ”funny dialog puzzles, exploration, wacky inventory items, and of course, a rope”, as well as a second “inventory” in which Bolt acquires Inspirational powers, basically the music equivalent of spells.
