Get those 16th century world domination plans dusted off because Magnifico is now available on Steam. It’s a region-based bid for conquering the globe as players vie for Victory Points to buy war machines.
These fancy weapons were designed by none other than Leonardo Da Vinci. We have to outbid our opponents at auction, which takes more mundane troops invading neighbouring lands.
”Cannons, flying machines, bombards, tanks and many more inventions will be available as options at the auction table, but only with a perfect balance of risk and caution will players make the most of them,” reads Magnifico’s Steam store page.
We can play up against three AI opponents, from a pool of ten characters; each with their own play style. It’s based off the 2008 boardgame Magnifico, aka Magnifico: DaVinci’s Art of War.
Magnifico releases on PC through Steam today, December 2nd.
