A pre-alpha video has emerged showing H-Hour: World’s Elite, the spiritual sequel to the SOCOM series, in action.
The third-person combat demonstrated will be familiar to anyone who’s played a SOCOM game. Take a look.
SOF Studios and former SOCOM creative head David Sears funded the game through a successful Kickstarter campaign, hoping to connect with the huge community that the popular franchise built up in its Playstation heyday. The campaign raised over $250,000.
SOF are currently working on an alpha build, with community members set to play test the build. The game’s planned release date is January 2015 on both PC and PS4. Check the official website for more info.
