Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell isn't as confident that his Robin Hood adapted stealth game Volume will be out this year after all, although that remains the plan. It "might well slip" into the start of next year.
Volume has no guns but a Ricochet device lets us control enemies, steal and edit our environment. It's inspired by Metal Gear Solid's VR training missions, and uses top-down views.
2014 remains "the plan," Bithell said at EGX Rezzed 2014. "But honestly, I'm feeling it might well slip now into the start of next year. I won't release it until it's ready, and I don't need to either, which is nice." Levels in Volume can be freely edited and remixed by players who can then share them with the wider community.
