We knew it would happen, because it is after all a Ubisoft game, but it’s been finally confirmed by Gamestop that Watch Dogs will have a season pass. Here’s a Google Cache link to the listing in question, which lists a new singleplayer campaign with a new character as part of the pass.
Presumably Watch Dogs will follow a similar model to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black flag, which had a spin-off campaign featuring your first mate Adewale. In addition, there’s ”more missions, weapons, and exclusive content”.
This all comes in at $19.99, which is a fairly standard price for a Ubisoft season pass. ”That’s an over 30% savings versus buying each piece separately”, according to the product page.
Watch Dogs is due out on May 27.
