This new trailer is over two-and-a-half minutes of tech porn loveliness for those armed with the GPU power to back them up. This is similar to Ubisoft’s other PC tech trailers.
We get a rundown of all the special techniques used in the game like Nvidia’s more recent TXAA which is superior to the more standard anti-aliasing, as this new method is ‘more cinematic’ and reduces flickering when scenes are in motion. It reduces the ‘visual noise’ of flickering elements, our narrator explains, like fences and cables.
