More fully destructible environments are coming asannounce team-based shooter Block N Load, which also boasts a healthy appetite for construction too. We'll shoot and build to victory!
Strategic constructions come in defensive and offensive flavours, before you charge off to tunnel and blast through the enemy base. An announcement trailer has been posted by Jagex.
This isn't browser-based, it's not an MMO and doesn't have that free-to-play sickness either - so what the heck is Jagex doing on this project? They admit this is outside their usual efforts but they're giving it a go anyway.
"We've been building Block N Load for a while now, and we're immensely excited by how the game is shaping up. Block N Load represents a true departure from the type of games that Jagex is known for; it's not browser-based, it's not free-to-play, and it's not an MMO," said David Solari, Vice President of Block N Load at Jagex. "We're thrilled to finally announce it to the world, and hope that people enjoy taking part in the upcoming beta. The team is eager to receive feedback and is looking forward to working closely with players to ensure Block N Load is the best game it can possibly be."
Block N Load will be entering into a beta test phase this December.
