If you’re in the mood for a mixture of tactical squad-based combat and anti-zombie violence, you might be intending to go and check out the open beta for Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies.
It launched yesterday, though judging by some of the Steam reviews there are still a few connection gremlins for Nexon to squash.
One witty Steam reviewer called the free-to-play shooter ”Uninstallation Simulator 2014”. Which seems a bit harsh, but is actually relatively tame compared to some of the other comments. Nexon has since posted a response claiming that the issues have been fixed;
As many were quick to notify us, players were unable to log in or stay logged in shortly after our Open Beta began. This was an issue with our game servers and The CSN:Z Team has been hard at work on correcting this issue.
We believe the issue has been found and corrected, there shouldn’t be any widespread issue about logging in or staying logged in.
Responses to that message suggest there’s still some way to go, as several users report that they’re still experiencing the same connection issues. Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies is the Western version of the popular Counter-Strike Online 2 from Korea. It’s set for a full release later this year.
