Developer DICE has announced today that every Battlefield Premium customer now qualifies for access to Battlefield 4′s Community Test Environment.
That means, slightly oddly, that console owners of a Premium account qualify for the Battlefield 4 CTE on PC, by virtue of the fact that there's no equivalent system on other platforms.
Head on over to the CTE sign-up website, and you can register whichever copy of the game you own. Then you'll just need to get a PC that can play it, download the CTE client and away you go. The Test Environment allows the developers to try out potential game features, content and improvements on some willing test monkeys before adding them to the main game.
Check the video above for what to expect. You can grab a Premium membership for Battlefield 4, which unlocks all the game's post-release content, over on Origin.
