Author Ty Corey Franck, who also works as George R. R. Martin’s assistant, will join the team working on Telltale’s Game of Thrones game, acting as a story consultant.
The job will presumably entail making sure nothing that appears in the highly anticipated game contradicts the increasing labyrinthine lore of the Song of Ice and Fire book series.
The news comes from this New York Times piece on Telltale. Franck should also bring his own expertise to the team; apart from helping out Martin, along with Daniel Abraham he’s an author himself and part of the two-person team behind Leviathan Wakes and the other books in the sci-fi Expanse series (which I highly recommend, and are themselves currently being turned into a TV show).
