Messhoff, the development studio behind addictive sword-fighting game Nidhogg, is about ready to release its follow up, trippy arcade puzzler Flywrench. It’s set for release on Steam in one month’s time.
It’s certainly been a long while in the making – the initial crowd-funding campaign was completed back in 2009. Here’s a description of what to expect, courtesy of Messhoff:
“Flywrench is a game about piloting an abstract morphing bird-spaceship through a complex web of colored lines accompanied by an electronic music soundtrack curated by the world famous Daedelus.”
It’s hard to get a real sense for Flywrench from that brief description and the short trailer above, but if it’s even a tenth as fun as Nidhogg was, it’s well worth looking out for.
