The release date of Star Wars Battlefront is just around the corner at a little under two weeks away, but EA wants to bring players inside a new immersive experience to build even more hype for the game. A new feature on the official Battlefront website allows users to tour the planets on which they will wage war.
The beginning screen offers viewers a choice of one of four iconic planets from the Star Wars universe: Endor, Hoth, Sullust, and Tatooine. Once a planet is chosen, players will be treated to a segmented cinematic tour of a battle on that planet. Each segment stops and offers several clickable icons on the screen that will share an informational blurb about the universe, the Rebels and Empire, the weapons, or the mechanics of the game.
It really is quite a breathtaking experience, especially inviting to anyone who didn't get a chance to take part in the Battlefront Beta that took place last month. It's also certainly a wonderful way to revisit and explain all of the content that has been revealed in the past few weeks. Unfortunately, Jakku, which was on display in a recent teaser and will be in upcoming DLC for the game, is not among the locations you can visit.
Star Wars Battlefront will be available on November 17th. Take it the sights on EA's planetary tours while you wait.
