We're looking for new writers and video casters to help us expand our editorial coverage on GameWatcher. With the recent rise of the PC games market it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep you all informed on what we think of the latest games from the PC space, which is why we're happy to reveal that we're looking for a few new talented writers to join us and help our current editorial team!
We are looking for people who are skilled in this field and enjoy writing about the latest PC games. If you've written for other publications before that'll help your application, but we're willing to take people on that haven't found a place in the industry yet, although you'll need to prove you've got the talent to keep our reader base entertained and informed.
As you should know by now, we're a PC based publication so we'll only want writers that are interested in this platform. Video content is extremely important to GameWatcher, as well as written pieces, so it'll be an added bonus if you've got previous experience with video recording; like having your own Youtube channel or podcasts.
For now all our writers will work on a part time basis, and you'll be paid for all the content you create. We will certainly supply you with PC games for you to write about, especially for the genres that you prefer to cover.
What sort of content are we talking about? Reviews, previews, interviews, video reviews and let's play videos, although there's also in-depth editorials and other content that we'll need you to work on.
Requirements:
1. Writers must be over 16 years of age.
2. Samples of previous work would be great, although you can write a 300 word piece as an example.
3. You must be able to meet deadlines and regularly contact us with email or Skype.
4. Please leave any contact information, such as email or Skype details when you contact us.
All applications should be sent to pr@gamewatcher.com.
We look forward to looking through all your applications. If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch!
