If you like your gameplay trailers short and sweet then Koei Tecmo’s quite brief glimpses of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence in action could be to your liking. All four videos are under a minute for the strategy game.
Each of the four focuses on differences of battles and we’re shown how they can be controlled from afar or up close. We’ll be scheming in Japan’s Sengoku era this September on PC.
”Battles are resolved in multiple ways, with the two main ones being a remote, birds-eye view of the map where there is free control of individual armies or combinations of allied forces and a close-up view option that offers more control of individual units.”
”Close-field battles also offer the player the possibility to take on the role of the Grand Commander. Doing so opens up the option to use officer ‘Traits’ and ‘Tactics’. Traits are passive special abilities of officers that automatically take effect when the officer is present.”
Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence releases on PC through Steam September 4th.
