Bandai Namco reveals a further delay to Project CARS, the racing simulator coming to PC and consoles. Now it’s arriving April 2nd across Europe, confirms developer Slightly Mad Studios.
They wouldn’t delay it again, right? It’s not like they’d have their fingers cross behind their backs… The mid-March release is now up in flames, with SteamOS still planned for later in 2015.
”Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS,” said studio boss, Ian Bell. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April.”
Is that April, or April*? Slightly Mad Studios developed Need for Speed: Shift and they’re using an improved Madness engine for the physics in Project CARS, such as a dynamic tyre model called ‘SETA’. There are vary degrees of driving aids available to toggle.
Project CARS releases on PC April 2nd in Europe, probably.
