Multiplayer first-person shooter Verdun - set during the trench warfare days of World War One - is now fully released on Steam. The tug-of-war battle for the Western Front gets a new map that’s unspoiled by war.
Verdun has ”a lot of historical depth” and has taken on a lot of community feedback during Early Access. Now it’s finally making the big push with 10% off until May 5th.
”Early Access gave us the opportunity to build up a community and in turn realize the potential of our game together with them. This is what we could only dream of and we’re very grateful for the players that stuck by us during the development process,” said co-producer Jos Hoebe.
The new map Aisne provides a big expanse to the Western Front and was largely held by the French, and it’s also Verdun’s greenest map as the ‘ravages of war’ have yet to touch it. Verdun mixes offensive and defensive battles as player squads storm trench lines.
Verdun is available now PC through Steam.
