Rainbow Six: Siege has emerged as one of the most solid tactical team-based shooters on the market coming out of the holidays into 2016. The game's first DLC was supposed to be coming this month, but recent updates from Ubisoft have confirmed that the DLC is being pushed into February.
The news was dropped via the official Rainbow Six Twitter in which the folks at Ubisoft answered a few questions from fans and players. Among the questions answered, there was one specifically questioning the confusion about separate dates Ubisoft had given to Siege's first DLC: Operation Black Ice. The initial date of release was slated for January 12, but a recent change put the date at February 2. Ubisoft answered directly to the confusion.
@MarsCaturix Operation Black Ice will be released on 2nd February for Season Pass holders, thanks.

Operation Black Ice will offer Season Pass holders access to several new operators and a new map. Season pass holders will get access to all of the content immediately, where everyone else will need to either buy the operators via real money or the in-game currency, "Renown".
Rainbow Six: Siege is out now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Operation Black Ice will be available to season pass holders on February 2. Anyone without the DLC will be able to access the content of the season pass a week later on February 9.
