Shadwen, the upcoming stealth-action title from the makers of Trine, will be released in May, Frozenbyte today announced. The developer also took the opportunity to announce the launch price and reveal a new trailer.
You may remember that Shadwen released a demo earlier this year coupled with an incredibly silly promotion, ”where gamers from all over the world were able to play a sneak-peek beta demo and lower the price by doing so. The starting price was $35 but over 20.000 downloads, 3.5 million points, and over 100.000 killed guards dropped the price to $14.55 (with a launch discount applied).”

Shadwen puts you in the role of the titular assassin, who will either sneak past or ruthlessly murder guards with the aid of physics-based traps and weapons. Players will have to choose carefully, as these moral decisions will have an effect on Lily, Shadwen’s orphaned charge.
