Setting aside a day in the week to gather up your friends and spend some quality time throwing insults at horror movies that manage to come across as more hilariously bad than scary is the pinnacle of anyone's social life
And soon, Gambitious Entertainment and Wild Factor will team up to release MachiaVillian - a game that builds upon the tropes of falsely comedic horror movies.
Taking cues from management titles like Dungeon Keeper and Ghost Master, MachiaVillain will task players with building up spectre-infested shacks into incriminating mansions. When the local kids aren't up for the brave challenge of spending a night in the neighbourhood haunted house, it's down to you to lure in unsuspecting civilians and have them trigger your spooky traps.
But just like the horror movies of your troubled childhood, the rules must be obeyed. Keep the virgin struggling throughout the whole ordeal and isolate individuals for the best scares. While we're told to keep the animals safe from harm, there's a certain other rule from the past that's thankfully been left behind.
In development for just over two years now, MachiaVillian is the third title from the romantic duo. Expect to pick it up in the Fall of 2017.
