Public transportation is the heart of every well-functioning city. Paradox know that. While driving is certainly a good method of Point-A-To-B-Travel on most roads, cities have expensive parking. Understanding that plight, The Cities Skylines: Mass Transit expansion will release May 18.
The group has spoken of the add-on for quite some time but always been hesitant on committing to a release date. Ensuring fans that it's always close at hand, Colossal Order have finally set the big day.
Coming soon after the release of the Natural Disasters add-on, the Cities Skylines: Mass Transit isn't here to reduce your city to rubble or be used in a strategic attempt to level land for another use. It brings a heap of new transport methods to the game while sprucing up currently existing methods while throwing some fan-favourite mods in there with thanks to their creators.
On top of the bus and rail system currently present, city-goers will soon be able to hop aboard cable cars, monorails, ferries and blimps - all while adding cash to the city. Throwing in new challenges, the shake-up to traffic means a new wave of scenarios will pit you against a cunning test of resource management. New roads, bridges and canals will change a city's traffic flow forever - but you'll need to master their effects to ease up tricky congestion.
Oh. And there's new hats for Chirper. That's an important part. Cities Skylines: Mass Transit releases May 18 for $12.99.
