Green Hell developer Creepy Jar has laid out the roadmap for its freshly-launched sophomore game, StarRupture.
The sci-fi survival game has just been released in Early Access today, but Creepy Jar is already deep into planning for the eventual 1.0 version with a host of tweaks and new additions coming up.
StarRupture Launch Trailer and Roadmap Details
Among the features promised during Early Access are new building options, the addition of wildlife to Arcadia-7, controller support, accessibility options, and new combat mechanics.
For the 1.0 version, Creepy Jar aims to add a new biome, more story elements, and the full endgame. You can see the complete roadmap below.
In StarRupture, a team of up to 4 players is left on Arcadia-7, a planet that’s almost cashed in its chips thanks to the impending death of its star. But for now, players must team up to survive, build, and automate in this hot and hostile environment that’s constantly shifting due to recurring cataclysms.
The gameplay blends survival mechanics, defense-based combat, automation, and base building. Given Creepy Jar’s years of experience in the survival field with its smash hit game Green Hell, it’ll be interesting to see how this more ambitious follow-up pans out.
StarRupture is available now on PC via Steam in Early Access for a discounted launch price of $15.99/£13.59.
