Publisher Snail Games and developer Loric Games today announced the Steam Early Access release date of their upcoming airship survival RPG, Echoes of Elysium. Setting sail on December 4, 2025, it challenges us with building our own airships and using them to explore the Elysian skies, uncovering their secrets.
Whether a massive flying fortress or a nimbler vessel, the airships act as means of transportation, weapons of war, as well as bases of operations where we can store the resources needed to survive and push onwards.

Both when playing solo and alongside up to 6 other players in online co-op, we’ll man the airships’ various stations as well as use jetpacks to fly around the game’s environments.
Echoes of Elysium’s Steam Early Access release date promises a bevy of materials that we can collect to craft tools, weapons, armor, and other necessary items, which will come in handy when attempting “to survive beasts, machines, and gods alike.”
The title’s RPG-style progression lets us choose from three character archetypes. As we explore and best foes, we unlock new skills, abilities, and get to tinker with “a robust modification system.”
Narratively, Echoes of Elysium sees the goddess Lethe guiding us through its world, brought to madness by one Heron whose “swarms of flying mechanical monsters, hostile towers, and an armada of airships” we’ll inevitably face.
To celebrate Echoes of Elysium’s Steam Early Access release date, the publisher is hosting a giveaway whose prize is a custom-built PC shaped like the Jack Of All Trades ship found on the game’s poster. Following the link above and wishlisting the game on Steam should be enough to earn you an entry.
Echoes of Elysium plans to spend “around 12-16 months” in early access, although its developer notes that “this is only an estimate and may change depending on development progress and community feedback.”
