Autogun Heroes: Supercharged, the roguelike 2D action-platformer from publisher and developer Nitro Games, has blasted its way to Steam, marking the series’ PC debut.
Described as “an exciting new chapter in the ever-growing Autogun Heroes universe” which “builds on the success of the award-winning mobile game,” Autogun Heroes: Supercharged sees us aiding eyepatch-wearing gunslinger Gus in cleansing planets of alien infestations and rescuing his crew.

Each hero we free joins our team, allowing us to control them and put their unique abilities, including “blazing fire rates, devastating power-ups, or versatile jetpacks,” to good use.
We can also customize the members of our roster with “an extensive array of weapons, gadgets, and armor.” This allows us to improve stats such as damage, fire rate, and defense in a way that suits our preferred playstyle.
Autogun Heroes: Supercharged’s approachable, boisterous cartoony art style is quite welcoming, yet its 2D action platforming tests both our aim and our ability to navigate its levels.
Things can also get quite chaotic on-screen as explosions and projectiles swarm towards their targets. Furthermore, the game’s roguelike structure ensures that each run feels fresh, the developer notes.
Autogun Heroes: Supercharged is available now on PC, via Steam. Its launch price is reduced by 20% until July 2, so you can grab it for $9.99/€9,84/£8.45 or your regional equivalent.
