Developer Alt Shift and publisher Dotemu have today announced strategy title Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes, launching in Q1 2026.
Described as a game where players “take command of a fleet escaping the annihilation of the Twelve Colonies”, Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes sees players trying to survive the onslaught of the Cylons.
The reveal trailer for the title shows real-time space battles, where choosing the right tactics and moves to make is the difference between life and death. Procedural unlocks are intended to spice up each playthrough and help players survive longer and longer each time they attempt a run. The game also includes a variety of choices, which the Steam page for the game describes as ranging from ‘allocating dwindling resources to managing divergent factions’ interests on board’.
