Facing off against its various bosses is part of what makes Bloodstained Ritual of the Night so great. In order to fight the Carpenter, you’ll need to find both its key and door.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Carpenter Key
The Carpenter Key location is found within the Dian Cech Cathedral area, after you unlock the invert ability which lets you turn rooms upside down and explore more of them.
You’ll want to head to the left, past a room with lit torches and into the room with the large bell. A flying demon will greet you and you’ll likely have to dispatch it. After it’s dealt with, simply climb on top of the bell and you should spot two chests: one green, one red. The Carpenter Key is located in the green chest.
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Carpenter Door
The Carpenter Door can then be found in the Oriental Sorcery Lab area. As it turns out, you'll find it right above the green teleport room on the map.
