Cor3’s release date brings us the next first-person shooter developed by Escape from Tarkov studio Battlestate Games, whose first reveal confirms a departure from the more grounded action it’s known for.
With Cor3, the developer is seemingly trying its hand at developing a sci-fi title that appears to include a dash of post-apocalyptic elements, which should hopefully translate to a compelling-enough setting that we’ll get to explore long after it releases.
Cor3 Release Date
Cor3 was revealed in early 2026, but did not receive a release date or window when we got our first glimpse of it. It’s unclear at the moment how long we will have to wait before getting to try out its brand of sci-fi action.
- Cor3 release date: TBA
Cor3 Gameplay
Cor3’s gameplay remains as much of a mystery, as the developer has yet to provide a deep dive into how it actually plays.
Its reveal trailer does suggest we’re looking at another first-person shooter, which would make sense, given how the genre helped Battlestate Games make its name known.
The title will seemingly be set on a ravaged or post-apocalyptic version of Mars or a similar planet. An interactive website reveals that the game could be set in 2251, 200 years after “humanity was able to stand at the brink of darkness, survive and reverse mutual total destruction.”
How it all fits together is something we’ll hopefully find out over the coming months and years, when developer Battlestate Games shares more information.
Cor3 Price and Platforms
There are currently no details about Cor3’s price or platforms, although it’s likely safe to assume it will make its way to PC and, potentially, current-gen consoles, when its release date does end up occurring.
Whether or not the title will also go through an early access stage before fully launching, like Escape from Tarkov did, remains to be seen.
