Dead Or Alive 6 is no longer releasing mid-February, Koei Tecmo Europe and Team Ninja announced today.
Originally slated for a February 15 worldwide release, the fighting game has been pushed back to March 1, as the developer looks to polish various aspects of the game.
“The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience,”, Dead Or Alive 6 Producer and Director Yohei Shimbori said in a press release.
Dead Or Alive 6 boasts a new graphics engine, as well as the new Break special move Gauge. Its story is set after the events of Dead Or Alive 5 and long time fans should be happy to hear that the triangle system (where strikes beat throws, throws beat holds, and holds beat strikes) also makes a return.
Dead Or Alive 6 is set to release on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on March 1.
