Deep Rock Galactic’s post-launch support continues with Season 6, whose start and end dates see our favorite crew of dwarven miners exploring a new part of Hoxxes in search of valuable minerals.
Announced a while back, DRG’s Season 6 took longer to materialize due to developer Ghost Ship Games’ new project Rogue Core. With the help of Danish developer Invisible Walls, the Relics of Hoxxes season is beginning to materialize, which is why we now have official details about it.
Deep Rock Galactic Season 6 Start and End Dates
Developer Ghost Ship Games has confirmed that Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 6 start date is expected to occur at some point in Q1 2026.

Developed in collaboration with Danish developer Invisible walls, the Relics of Hoxxes season introduces the new Ossuary Depths biome, a tomb-like area of the planet that houses gargantuan bones and new foes.
The Ossirans, “a species who thrive on collecting the countless bones that give the Ossuary Depths its name,” now venture beyond their former home. During missions, we’ll face the Ossiran Scrab scavenger drones alongside the Ossiran Pit Jaw, a burrowing enemy that prefers ambushing foes.
Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 6 also brings us a new type of primary mission, named Heavy Excavation, which tasks us with gathering Resinite Mass from deposits spread across levels.
“When you’ve excavated around the Resinite Deposit, Mission Control will send down a supply pod equipped with four lift thrusters, which you’ll need to fasten to the sides of the crystal,” the developer explains. “Once that’s done, you just stand back and enjoy the light show while the thrusters laser-carve their way up to orbital extraction.”
The Ossium Raid season even then introduces us the third Ossian enemy – The Bone Collector. Passive at first, we need to chase it into the “labyrinthian burrows where it hides its precious harvest.”
There, we have to locate a cache of crystallized Ossium which we must retrieve, although doing so does involve fighting its defenders.
Deep Rock Galactic’s Relics of Hoxxes season will also bring with it a new performance pass, completely free, like everything else mentioned above. A premium DLC armor pack will also be available.
