Developer Blackbird Interactive and publisher Focus Home Interactive have announced the release date for the early access game, Hardspace: Shipbreaker. The game will be available to try on Steam from June 16th, and the full release will be cross platform on the PS4 and Xbox One.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a spaceship salvage simulator, putting the player in massive debt to a corporate behemoth until they’ve paid off what they owe. You will work in a scrapyard, pulling valuable components from dangerous wrecks, being careful not to cause a cataclysmic chain reaction that will tear the ship - and you - into pieces.

- Cut and destroy at will within a next-generation physics simulation.

Each ship is different, featuring full electrical and gas systems you’ll have to take care not to burn through at the wrong moment, and pressurised environments that risk blowing your salvage into space. As it’s aiming for full console release, the game includes full controller support as standard.
