You can pick up some beastly beauties in the Steam sale right now with horror-tinged titles going cheap.
All manner of monsters and menaces can creep onto your PC at a cut price, with everything from dangerous dinosaurs to eldritch abominations on offer.
Let’s take a look at some of the terrors that await you.
Monster Deals Await on Steam
We’ve got some well-established movie monsters in the science fiction department. You can live the dream of running your own disaster-free dinosaur park in Jurassic World: Evolution 2, which is currently 70% off for standard and deluxe editions. If you fancy pushing the boat out for the latest entry, that’s had a tenner shaved off its £49.99 price tag. Better still, get all three JW Evolution games in a bundle for £60.53, slashing the price by 53%.
If you’re in for some intense strategy against a variety of xenomorph threats, you can pick up Aliens: Dark Descent for £12.24 or double your Xeno fun by adding Aliens: Fireteam Elite and paying just over three quid extra.
Aliens: Dark Descent is easily the best Aliens game, recreating the overwhelming despair of a team of Colonial Marines going up against acid-for-blood monsters. With Alien Isolation representing the first film so well, maybe we’ll get a good game to represent Alien 3 one day.
Maybe you like your horrors unspeakable, and when Frogwares has The Sinking City: Remastered going for under seven pounds, there’s not much better value for some Lovecraft-infused terror.
Or perhaps some bleak, history-infused drama (and lots of flesh-eating rats) would do the trick. The superb A Plague Tale: Innocence is currently 80% off, while A Plague Tale: Requiem is 65% off. The story-rich adventures of orphans enduring 14th-century France as the Inquisition and an almost supernatural plague are in constant pursuit.
Finally, something a bit more freeing, but no less brutal, is Inflexion Games’ Early Access survival gem Nightingale, which is going for a fiver until March 2, 2026. That’s a whopping 80% off for hours of danger in the Fae Realms.
