The upcoming Mortal Kombat movie has had a number of fans of the franchise worried on whether filmmakers were going the same route as was the case with the Mortal Kombat films released in the nineties when it comes to violence, but the writer has now conclusively put those worries to rest.
Now that that's settled, we suppose there's no reason to be worried about the film at all. Considering the franchise we are talking about, excessive violence is about all we can ask for. A sensible plot and true-to-source characters would be nice, however.Since it's already been stated by other members of the team, I'm gonna put this one to bed. MK WILL be R-Rated and for the first time EVER, FATALITIES will FINALLY be on the big screen (and no I'm not gonna say which ones) You'll just have to wait for the movie & see!!! ;) pic.twitter.com/aVTewH4t28
