A small update on a new Rayman title has been offered by Ubisoft in a new video message celebrating the thirty-year anniversary of the platforming mascot.
The last release in the franchise was 2013’s Rayman Legends, with the character only appearing in cameos and small appearances since then - but in 2024, Ubisoft confirmed that they were in the early stages of working out what exactly was next for the platforming series. Now, a celebratory video message has offered a small update on progress.
“Rayman couldn’t have become such a legend without all of you, the fans. You’ve helped to keep his legacy growing, and we’re incredibly thankful for that,” brand producer Loic Gounon said in the video.
“As we said in the past, a very talented team at Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan is currently working together on the future of Rayman. Don’t expect news from us too soon, but rest assured, Rayman is in good hands.”
Rayman’s latest major appearance was as a character in DLC for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, which was Rayman’s first console game since Rayman Legends.
