Following up on their promise to continually support The Crew 2 with an abundance of post-release content, Ubisoft have just announced their plans for the first major content update for their arcade racer: Gator Rush.
As the title might suggest, Gator Rush is going to focus on driving through the marshes really, really fast. What better way to do so, short of going at it with racing hovercrafts? These beasts can slide on virtually every terrain there is, bump against just about anything, and land on top of other hovercrafts with ease.
The Crew 2: Gator Rush will be featured as a completely free content release come September 26th, and will come packing three different vehicles to boot. To accomodate this entire new type of vehicles being added to the game, and in addition to the Bayou, their own special free-run map, certain iconic areas of the map have also received a slight redesign.
As well as adding new events, Gator Rush is also planned to add the so-called Ace Mode, which is an even further (optional) increase in difficulty, where players will be able to find Legendary loot to customise their rides with.
Come September 26th, Season Pass holders will also be getting seven-day early access to the monthly batch of vehicles that is being added to The Crew 2, as part of the game's monthly vehicle drop. Excited about Gator Rush? Watch the trailer and let us know what you think.
