You’ll encounter a lot of resource types while playing The Cycle: Frontier, with some more valuable than others. Waterweed Filament is an important crafting material and is necessary to make the Combat Stim, which is best used as an emergency combat heal, regaining 30 hp over a 3-second period.
Waterweed Filament can also be traded for Osiris faction points or sold for Krypto Marks on the Prospect Station, but depending on how often you get hit, you might want to save them for healing.
The Cycle: Frontier Waterweed Filament Location
When searching for Waterweed Filament, the clue is in the name. Bodies of water like lakes and swamps will have them floating around, but if you’re in a hurry to find some, you can check by the Lake situated around the Waterfall Lab in the northeast of the Bright Sands region.
And if you’re really in a hurry, there are two extraction points directly above the Lab and one off to the west of the Lake itself. This means getting in and out quickly with the waterweed you need could be a viable strategy.
