Owlcat Games has released a new DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader to celebrate a collaboration between the studio and Fatshark’s Darktide game.
The new “The Shovel” DLC for Rogue Trader features a new shovel weapon for use in-game, which previously appeared in Darktide. The DLC is a small crossover for both games, which are now being sold together in a bundle.
The official DLC description reads:
“From the hive cities of Atoma Prime to the vast reaches of the Koronus Expanse, the legacy of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide arrives in Rogue Trader with a new, free DLC weapon - the Sapper Shovel.
“Once wielded by the stalwart Rejects in their desperate struggle against heresy, the shovel ended up in the hands of a Lord Captain. Brutal, weighty, and unyielding, it’s a symbol of survival and defiance - find it in Tainted Streets.”
To coincide with the new DLC, you’ll be able to grab both Rogue Trader and Darktide in a bundle together with a 45% discount. For any big Warhammer fans who haven’t yet picked up either of these titles, it might be a good time to do so.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a CRPG set in the eponymous fantasy universe, where players must gather a crew and set out on an adventure in the Koronus Expanse.
Meanwhile, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a co-operative game from the creators of the Vermintide series, where players must retake Tertium city from hordes of enemies.
