If you’re eagerly awaiting Resident Evil Requiem’s full release, there’s a good chance you’re also wondering if a demo will give us a taste of what’s to come before the title’s highly-anticipated full launch.
A potential Resident Evil Requiem demo would follow in the footsteps of recent entries in Capcom’s acclaimed survival horror series, which benefitted from small playable slices that showcased a portion of the full game. They aimed not just to convince players who might be on the fence regarding a potential purchase, but also give dedicated fans an early opportunity to immerse themselves in the titles’ atmospheres.
Resident Evil Requiem Demo
Unfortunately, Capcom has yet to confirm the launch of a Resident Evil Requiem demo, which could be bad news, given how we’re quite close to launch.
The developer seems fully focused on ensuring that the next entry in the series, which splits its gameplay between more survival horror-focused sections during which we play as Grace and action-packed romps during which we control Leon, will come out in as best a shape as possible.
This could mean that it will skip releasing a Resident Evil Requiem demo this time around.
Lacking an official announcement, however, we cannot rule out the possibility of a playable slice of the game dropping closer to launch or even at launch, for those still undecided about whether or not they want to jump in.
All we can do is wait and see how things unfold. Should a Resident Evil Requiem demo be on the cards, Capcom will surely release an official announcement on the matter.
