The World of Warcraft Shadowlands Expansion is in full swing, seeing players move beyond Azeroth and into the realms of death itself. But as powerful as the Jailer and his massive army are, none of them can stand up to the MMORPG going offline, whether for planned maintenance or because of unexpected issues. That's also why keeping a track of the World of Warcraft Server Status is pretty important.
This article aims to keep track of WoW's Server Status so you know when you won't be able to explore the Shadowlands, Azeroth, or any other of the realms added in the game's lengthy history. Weekly maintenance is required so Blizzard can ensure that the servers run smoothly, but unexpected issues can occur, taking the game offline or causing dreaded log in queues.
World of Warcraft Server Status Updates
- Current Server Status - Online
The World of Warcraft servers are currently online, but maintenance is planned to take place soon. The US servers are likely to be taken offline on September 14. Retail WoW and Classic will be unavailable between 7 AM PDT and 8 AM PDT, while Burning Crusade Classic will be down between 7 AM PDT and 9 AM PDT.
Over on the EU side, players can also expect the retail servers to be affected by rolling restarts on September 15, between 2 AM BST and 3 AM BST.
We'll keep you alerted on the World of Warcraft server status to keep you updated on when you'll have to take a break from adventuring through both the Shadowlands and Azeroth, but it's a good idea to also keep track of the official US and EU maintenance pages.
