Bethesda has announced that DOOM 3: BFG Edition, the next-gen update of the original DOOM 3, will be launched in North America on the 16th October and the 19th October worldwide. The BFG Edition will feature a higher resolution re-master of DOOM 3 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The BFG Edition will also include the expansion released for DOOM 3, "The Resurrection of Evil", as well as seven new levels called "The Lost Mission".
