Fantasy tie-in A Game of Thrones is doing pretty well for itself on television, so Cyanide Entertainment hopes they'll capture the videogame equivalent. It's an entirely exclusive affair for the PC and, while it "might sound pretentious," the team really believe it's "like no other" real-time strategy out there.

Battlestar Galactica Online's Bigpoint has announced that A Game of Thrones is getting the MMO treatment via their proprietary Unity Engine, and launching via browsers. Artplant is aiding Bigpoint create the online experience of Westeros. Details about the MMO will be arriving next week at GDC which runs March 7-9. It's likely to be free-to-play.

The studio is confident they've picked an "identifiable name that will resonate" with Game of Thrones fans. Seven Kingdoms begins after the death of the King.
A Facebook game is in development at Disruptor Beam and it goes by the name 'Game of Thrones Ascent', which will let us take the role of a noble during the chaos in Westeros. Around 100 extremely dedicated fans of both George RR Martin's fictional Westeros from A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) and Minecraft have combined the two, in a four month long project. They have amazingly recreated iconic landmarks from the immensely popular fantasy world, including the main city of King's Landing. It's part of a larger project known as 'WesterosCraft: A Game of Blocks'.
