Of all the MMOs I haven’t had time to play over the years, I think I regret the time not spent with Elder Scrolls Online the most. I love the Elder Scrolls, to the point at which just getting to see locations like Elsweyr and the Black Marsh would be enough to keep me going. The game’s latest bit of DLC focuses squarely on that latter location, the Argonian homeland.
After the slightly disappointing Fallout 4, we know fans of Bethesda games may have been expecting to hear something about another Elder Scrolls game. Unfortunately, we won’t be hearing about that game for a long time according to Director and Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios, Todd Howard. Speaking to YouTube’s Live at E3 Stream, Howard confirmed the studio are working on three new projects and that Elder Scrolls 6 is one of them. There could be something else in store for players, as the other two projects currently being worked on by Bethesda promise to be equally impressive as Elder Scrolls 6.

E3 is upon us! The Electronic Entertainment Expo has infiltrated the Los Angeles Convention Center, filling its halls with the latest and greatest games all the big publishers want you to know about. GameWatcher will be on hand to report the biggest news and give you hands-on coverage of the show's top games. The show floor doesn't officially open until Tuesday, but most of the big news will be revealed through the press conferences scheduled for Sunday and Monday.
Wondering what Bethesda could possibly announce at their E3 press conference this year? Last year most people expected the developers to announce Fallout 4, and we already knew they were publishing Doom. This year things seem a little bit more secretive, that was until industry insider Shinobi602 opened his mouth. One of the games Bethesda may be announcing is a remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. According to Shinobi602 on the most recent episode of H.A.M Radio Podcast, at approximately 59:06 he says: “I would expect a remaster of sorts [at Bethesda’s press conference]… for something.” NeoGAF user/industry insider Enter the Dragon Punch, who recently was involved in the Dead Rising 4 leak, confirmed it is a Skyrim remaster.
Bethesda has revealed additional details and the final release dates for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited's next DLC, Dark Brotherhood, which will be released for the PC on 31st May, while the console versions will have to wait until the 14th June. The expansion can be purchased separately for 2,000 crowns from the the game's virtual marketplace, although it's actually available for free to people with an ESO Plus membership ($15/month). A Collector's Bundle will also be available in the Crown Store for 4,000 crowns, which includes the ark Brotherhood DLC game pack, the Highland Wolf Mount, the Sylvan Nixad pet, and five Crown Experience Scrolls.

Bethesda has announced that worldwide beta registration is now open for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, a free-to-play strategy card game based on the Elder Scrolls series. You'll be pleased to know that from today a selected few will be able to play the game in a closed beta, with additional players being invited in the next few months. Legends explores the characters, creatures, deities, and lore from across the The Elder Scrolls franchise. “As a fan of digital strategy card games, I’m especially excited about having people play Legends,” said Pete Hines, Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda Softworks. “We’re looking forward to hearing their feedback and having them help us shape the future of the game. “ The Elder Scrolls: Legends doesn't have a definitive release date yet, although it will be available for the PC and iPad. Hot on the heels of the recent Thieves Guild expansion, Bethesda Softworks have today pulled back the veil on the next chunk of DLC for the Elder Scrolls Online. Centered around The Dark Brotherhood, the series longtime cabal of nefarious assassins, this latest expansion for Bethesda's MMORPG looks to deepen the lore and content of the game even further as it thrusts players into the midst of the nefarious group.
Bethesda Softworks has announced that Thieves Guild, the first official expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, will be available on the 7th March, 2016. The downloadable content will be free for those who own an active ESO Plus membership. Otherwise, the DLC will cost 2000 crowns in the ESO Store. A special Collector's Bundle runs 4,000 crowns and includes the Hammerfell Camel mount, the Kindlespit Dragon Frog, and five Crown Experience Scrolls.

The Connacht Tribune is reporting that the customer support center in Galway, Ireland for The Elder Scrolls Online has been shuttered, resulting in the layoffs of 300 people.
